We’re delighted to announce that Proxima has made the final of the first ever edie Net Zero Awards where they have been shortlisted for Consultancy of the Year in recognition of The Scope 3 Maturity Benchmark. The edie Net-Zero Awards recognize and reward individuals and organizations that are spearheading the transition towards a net-zero carbon economy.
The Scope 3 Maturity Benchmark is a program created by Proxima in collaboration with The Scope 3 Peer Group, a 1,000-practitioner community focused on supply chain emissions in the world’s leading companies and initiatives, such as the SBTi. It exists to accelerate more confident progress on supply chain emission reduction by sharing best practice.
This pro bono project has provided insights to nearly 100 organizations on their current maturity and recommendations to improve, empowering them to tackle Scope 3 decarbonization. It’s raising collective capability and creating a powerful ripple effect down the supply chain, supporting the pathway to Net Zero.
In producing the benchmark, Proxima has made the initial pilot results open source, open to any organisation who wants to explore the results and how they can be used. They have also produced numerous support guides and education articles on key Scope 3 topics such as how to get started, busting the myths on Carbon Accounting and various category/domain insight pieces on decarbonization plus further sustainability topics such as Social Value.
Proxima, and other benchmark participants, have also appeared at multiple events to promote the benchmark and its findings such as CIPS, World Sustainable Procurement Day, The Sustainable Procurement Pledge, Accelerate Together, and more.
Proxima are committed to helping global organizations progress their sustainability agendas. The Scope 3 Maturity Benchmark sits at the heart of their sustainability offering, allowing organizations to collaborate and share data to advance progress on Scope 3.
