The past six months have brought many reasons for us to celebrate at Proxima.
From being awarded a ‘World Class’ accreditation by Best Companies and named among the best management consulting firms by both Forbes and the Financial Times, we have a lot to be proud of. To top this off, we are finalists in three categories at this year’s MCA Awards and for CIP’s Procurement Consultancy Project of the Year.
These wins are all down to the committed people who work at Proxima, and we’re incredibly proud to look back at all we have achieved in 2022 so far.
Maintaining our reputation as a great place to work
The announcement of Bain & Company’s acquisition of Proxima has been a significant highlight for us and an exciting step for our business. Our expertise and proven track record will further enable Bain’s clients to master the disruptive forces in an era of turbulence in the procurement and supply chain sectors and drive purposeful change.
We believe Proxima is a dynamic and collaborative place to work, which is why it was great to be recognized by Best Companies as one of the top 25 mid-sized companies to work for in the UK in their Q2 rankings. This was prior to a successful Q1, which saw us win a ‘World Class’ accreditation.
We have launched a number of initiatives that have helped to make Proxima a great place to work and encourage collaboration across teams, including our Gender Equality Network, Committee on Racial Equality, and our Communities of Practice which encourages mentoring and support between colleagues.
Ultimately, this not only makes Proxima a great place to work, but also encourages creativity, open-mindedness, and a common vision, contributing to the outstanding quality of work that we consistently deliver for our clients.
Being named by peers and clients as one of America’s Best Management Consulting firms
In March, we were listed on Forbes’ America’s Best Management Consulting Firms, ranked among 218 of the most endorsed firms of its kind in the country. The list was based on results from a survey that gathered both expert and client feedback.
It’s reassuring to see that our work creates positive change in the world of supply chains through offerings such as Decarbonization-as-a-Service which has been recognized by peers in the industry and our clients.
Recognized by the Financial Times as being amongst the best in the business
The Financial Times’ Leading Management Consultants report showcased Proxima’s work in three leading categories: Operations & Supply Chain, Public & Social Sector, and Consumer Goods & Retail.
Our work at Proxima is broad-ranging and we consistently work hard to identify our clients’ needs across sectors. This includes work with clients from the aviation sector such as EasyJet, in which we helped them revolutionize their in-flight retail program, to the food sector, where we worked with Baxters to optimize their spend and set up for a sustainable future.
Finalists in three categories in industry-leading awards
We have been named finalists in this year’s MCA Awards, across three categories. As the leading industry body for management consultancies in the UK, being recognized by the MCA across a broad spectrum of our work is a fantastic achievement.
Our Senior Consultant, Tim Deeker Harris, who joined us in 2021, is up for the Rising Star Award for his work balancing stakeholders for a project that tied into post-Brexit relations between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as his work on sustainable car travel in London.
Another of our Senior Consultants, Beth Bradley is up for Young Consultant of the Year, due to her delivery of transformative change in the sustainability and ESG strategies for her public and private sector clients.
Our work with Baxters has also been recognized in the Performance Improvement in the Private Sector category, after our team supported the company’s future growth aspirations and recovery from the impact of the pandemic, achieving exceptional feedback.
Shortlisted at CIPS Excellence in Procurement Awards
We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for Procurement Consultancy Project of the Year at this year’s CIPS Awards.
Our team worked with easyJet to revolutionize their in-flight retail offering. The project built a geographically tailored experience for customers, utilizing the creativity and innovation of collaborative partners.
We’re incredibly proud to see the outstanding work of our individual consultants and project teams be recognized.
We’re excited to continue delivering best-in-class work for our clients in 2022 and to continue driving purposeful change in the world’s supply chains. If you are looking to join our award-winning team, check out our careers page to learn more.
